The Force is Strong With This One

LEGO games all follow the same formula.

This one gets it right in all the ways you wished any previous LEGO game did. If you are a Star Wars fan, or even if you haven’t watched the 9 part saga, the game will afford you a shortened telling of one of the greatest stories of all time.

The pew-pew of blasters. The idle hum of your lightsaber as you explore and destroy the perfectly crafted environments from the Star Wars universe.

Beloved characters at every turn. I smiled and laughed and had the feels at all the right parts of the story. This is what the new LEGO formula should be. What everyone should take from this is that it takes time to get things right, and people are willing to wait for games that are true to their favourite franchises.
