Top Gun: Maverick – Quick Review
Top Gun: Maverick is a “blockbuster” cinema experience from start to finish.
Breathtaking airborne sequences are something that needs to be seen, especially knowing that they shot pretty much all of it for real, with actual actors up in the jets. The difference between these scenes and anything done with special effects is so evident, as you watch the full forces provided by the jets inflicting themselves onto the cast.
Solid character building, high stakes & clear echoes of the original film make it an absolute blast at the movies, and give you every reason to watch it.
It’s a shame that so many people will miss Top Gun: Maverick in the IMAX, but trust us… if you haven’t seen it in IMAX and it gets any form of limited rerelease, we highly recommend checking it out on the massive cinema experience that it was specifically created for.
