Party Animals multiplayer had us CRYING with laughter – Video Review

If you’ve got an Xbox or a PC and you’re looking for something to get you to cry with laughter along with a few friends online or sitting together on the couch, you’ve really gotta check out Party Animals.

Party Animals is a game where you haul around very lethargic but hilarious looking animals, and then do everything in your power to make your friends and opponents’ lives a living hell.

The sluggish controls are that way by-design and take a bit of getting used to, but once you get it done it becomes a whole lot of fun.

You do this by grabbing, throwing, punching, kicking, headbutting and fly kicking anyone in your vicinity, and using an assortment of weapons that you find laying around.

Even after you’re dead, you can mess with other players by tossing in dead fish, bananas and bombs. The last team or player to survive the round gets a point. Get enough points and you win the map! “The right fish in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world, Mr Freeman.”

You don’t only have to worry about the other players though, because the varied and incredibly creative levels are devilish in their design, and range from black hole generators to submarines, aeroplanes and wobbly bridges.

Verdict: It launched on and is currently available on Game Pass, so if you’re a subscriber then you have no reason to miss out. It’s a whole lot of fun and a great way to spend some time laughing and swearing at your friends. I highly recommend you give it a go.
