Metacritic Rating: 89/100 | Available on PS4, PC and Xbox One | Release: 23 June 2015

Welcome to the review hub for Batman: Arkham Knight: The 3rd Batman game in the “Arkham” series from Rocksteady Games (4th overall if you count the non-Rocksteady prequel Arkham Origins) has hit the ground running with great scores thanks to the game’s fantastic visuals, fun and varied gameplay and really well put together (and paced) story. Some critics don’t seem to be to convinced on the inclusion, or rather the large amount of gameplay time, that the Batmobile has gotten. For us, we think it rounds the experience up for a franchise that really risked feeling overly familiar the 4th time around.

We’ve been having a great time with the game on Playstation 4 but the big news of release week has been about how the PC port is suffering from huge performance issues and raking in tons of negative reviews on Steam.

4.8/5 Pennyworth Reviews The story is some of Rocksteady’s finest work, it’s never felt better to be the Batman and there’s dozens and dozens of hours of varied gameplay right out of the box. Go. Play. Be the Batman. Read our review

International Reviews:

10/10 Polygon After Arkham Knight, Batman has been perfected — and the end result is the best game of this console generation.

7/10 Gamespot Rather than escape the pull of the games that spawned it, The Bat’s newest adventure refines the fundamentals; it is a safe but satisfying return to the world’s most tormented megalopolis.

9.2/10 IGN If this is in fact the last Rocksteady-developed Batman game, the series will end on a high note. Arkham Knight is the biggest Batman game yet, not just in map size, but in the wide range of different types of gameplay, and its collection of characters.

4.5/5 GamesRadar+ An ambitious and successful end to Rocksteady’s trilogy, with a standard-setting open world you must experience. A superior main story and less Batmobile combat would’ve made a huge difference.

10/10 SA Gamer It is a rare occurrence to have such a big franchise, (based on a comic book of all things) become such a success for a third time. Rocksteady Studios have done an exceptional job on Batman Arkham Knight

9/10 Lazygamer Reinvigorated and ready for the ultimate fight to save Gotham City, Rocksteady’s Batman is going out with the biggest of bangs in the definitive Dark Knight game.
